Runs were pretty chill today and it was pretty awesome. I am so frickin pumped for State on Wednesday!!! We’ve had a few really rough races this season but I am completely confident in my team’s ability to win State. I trust each of the 6 guys running with me and I know they can each do something amazing.

Carson: he has been such a great leader for this team. I know we’ve joked with him every now and then about not being a good captain, but he’s been one of the best leaders and examples I’ve had. I’m so excited to see him run at State because it’ll be one of the greatest races that day and he’ll definitely turn a lot of heads. He has more heart than anyone I’ve met and he truly loves this sport. The dedication he’s had shows this. Wednesday’s his chance to show what it means to be an elite runner and he’s gonna do it and will lead this tram to victory. I’m  so grateful to have one of PV’s greatest runners on my team.

Alex: he has always been a runner I looked up to and he always will be. He has so much experience as a runner and that is gonna show on Wednesday. I know he can stick up with Carson and the 2 of them can work together towards greatness. Like everyone else, he’s had some rough races, but he cares a lot about this team and is gonna give it his all on Wednesday I can feel it!

Julien: oh boy. What to say. Julien is one of the most gifted runners I have ever seen. He was born to run. mix that with his guts and you have an amazing runner. He’s been injured this past season and has let that effect his races, but come Wednesday he’s gonna push all of that aside and race his GREATEST race of the season. This little kid is this team secret weapon and with him running his best this team will do great things.

Nathan: I am so proud of Nathan’s progress. He has really stepped up to the plate. I remember at XC camp when his goal was to be this team’s 3rd or 4th runner. Well he’s doing it. He had a goal and he went after it and I truly believe he can accomplish it. I want to see him up there in our front pack and I think we can all expect to see that happen because he is the kinda guy who you can trust.

Spencer: this guy can really go after it! Spencer is a key member of this team, one who has had some incredible races. Despite injury, sickness, and a whole bunch of other craziness he’s gone through, Spencer has become a great runner and a guy I can rely on. When he gives it all he’s got, you can tell. And I think he’s ready to show everyone his true potential at State Wednesday.

Dylan: Dylan cares soooo much about this team. He reminds me so much of Xander, and is one of the greatest guys I know. Dylan wants this team to do so well and I’m so glad he’s gonna be there racing alongside me at State. When it comes down to it, Dylan will not let this team down and he will fight for us. He’s stuck with our pack before and can sure as h*ll do it again. He deserves it.

So I’m not sure if these guys will read this or not, but I care so much about all of them and want them to know that I’m so frickin proud of how far we’ve come. I promise you guys tha I’ll give my all for this team on Wednesday because we deserve it. And if we don’t  happen to win on Wednesday it doesn’t really matter because we’re gonna run our  best and that’s what’s important. I couldn’t be more proud to be a Panther. PVXC FOREVER!
